Anthony's 'Kokercircuit 3'

This circuit ist built by a good friend of mine, Anthony Huvaere, a MärklinSprint collector from Belgium. He told me, that his german writing is 'a real disaster' (shouldn't I tell this ;-) ) , so we find some english, here. We sent lots of mails to each other and he attached some pictures of his track we would like to show.

Meanwhile, Anthony created a graet homepage, so take a closer look at Anthony's Märklin Sprint Site !

I think the best way to describe , what you can see on the pictures, is to quote from the mails, Anthony sent me . The first mail came with the pictures above, the second followed several mails and some megabytes of pictures later ;-)

"Hallo Michael,
here are some pictures of my track, it is called "Kokercircuit 3". It's great fun to race this track but most of the time I do it on my own against the time. I've got a timing system (called SRM "Slotrace Manager") that is controlled by an old computer (486).
"I also use the Slotman program to design my tracks. And for timing I use this program: SRM (Slotrace Manager) from a Dutch guy called Mario van Ginneken. Here is the link: http://www.cenobyte.nl/slotracemanager/. It's a fantastic DOSprogram (in English) and it's for free. You only need an old computer (a 486 or even 386 is enough) and a cable (I used an old printercable with 4 lightsensors) to connect at the parallelport. The lightbridge was also no problem (you have a picture of it). It's great fun to race against the time and trying to break the trackrecord. If you are looking for a good timerprogram and a program to manage your slocars, well this is it!"

"At the moment I'm busy restaurating (restaurieren???) a Porsche 911 Targa(orange). I will send you some pictures later. He was very badly painted (and I mean really bad, it was a disaster) in... red!!! Not my work
ofcourse). I tried to get the paint off, but it looked not good at all, in fact everything went off (the decals), so I had to repaint it... . It's a shame, but I will try to make it look as good as the original. Wait and see.
Hear you later! Anthony... "

"My Porsche 911 Targa is ready, have a look at it. It's a great car to race with, but breaking the trackrecord won't be possible I think, I just got 11.991 for the fastest lap! As you allready know I had to repaint the car and had to make all the decals and the numbers. The numbers were made in "Word" and the decals were found at http://www.logo.nino.ru/. Then I printed them on fotopaper, well I'm satisfied with the result...

Here are some of Anthony's other cars in detail. The 2nd picture of the red Lola shows the car after a slight rebuild, it looks like new, watch the decals and the new repro-spoiler. Anthony told me, that he broke the old trackrecord of the Kokercircuit with this car. In the middle, you can see a very fine Jaguar and the last two pictures show both versions of the BMW Formula 2, a red and a white/blue one.
